Red Alert sirens were triggered Monday night in Kibbutz Lehavot HaBashan in northern Israel in response to an attack by Lebanon’s Iranian proxy, Hezbollah.
It was the second cross-border attack in one day; Monday was the first day on which projectiles were fired at northern Israel by Hezbollah since last Wednesday, when a shaky ceasefire went into effect.
About half an hour earlier, the IDF announced its forces were striking terror targets in Lebanon, with further details to follow, in response to mortar fire aimed at Mount Dov by the terrorist organization earlier in the day.
This is a developing story.
