Approximately 80 rockets crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory, targeting Haifa and its bayside suburbs, according to an IDF statement.
A 17-year-old boy was lightly wounded by shrapnel in Kiryat Ata, Magen David Adom reported, and was taken to Rambam Hospital with injuries from a glass shard as he was on his way to the shelter.
MDA found two more injured people: a 52-year-old man who was moderately injured by shrapnel in his back and a 55-year-old man whose limbs were also wounded on his way to the shelter.
Several rockets crashed, and property was damaged due to the barrage, according to Israel Police.

Lebanese Hezbollah-affiliated network "Al Maydeen" claimed that Hezbollah launched two ballistic missiles during the attack.
