Several people have been reported wounded following an intense bombardment on northern Israel by Hezbollah on Monday afternoon.

Approximately 80 rockets crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory, targeting Haifa and its bayside suburbs, according to an IDF statement.

A 17-year-old boy was lightly wounded by shrapnel in Kiryat Ata, Magen David Adom reported, and was taken to Rambam Hospital with injuries from a glass shard as he was on his way to the shelter.

Several rockets crashed, and property was damaged due to the barrage, according to Israel Police.

Ballistic missile launch

Lebanese Hezbollah-affiliated network "Al Maydeen" claimed that Hezbollah launched two ballistic missiles during the attack.
