D-Fend Solutions is an Israeli startup that offers counter-drone technology. The firm has raised $31 million in funding led by Israel Growth Partners. Anti-drone tech is important these days, especially in Israel which has been under attack by drones launched by Hezbollah terrorists based in Lebanon. Drones are harder to detect and shoot down than missiles and, as has been evidenced, they can carry enough explosives to cause a great deal of damage.

At one point, Iran launched a massive number of armed drones at Israel; even though they took a day to reach the country.
