Multiple injuries were reported Monday night after Iran’s Lebanese proxy Hezbollah fired a long-range ballistic missile at the Tel Aviv metro area.
The IDF Aerial Defense Array intercepted the missile, but due to its size and the deadly explosives in the warhead, significant damage and injuries were reported as shrapnel landed in Ramat Gan, Bnei Brak and Tel Aviv.
One piece of shrapnel landed near the Ayalon Mall, igniting a fire and causing some injuries at the edge of Ramat Gan, near Bnei Brak.
Another piece of shrapnel reportedly landed on a bus in Tel Aviv, with more injuries reported there as well.
